VIRGIN VOYAGES CRUISE INJURY LAWYERS
Injured on a Virgin Voyages cruise?
Virgin Voyages sails adults-only ships, for guests 18 and over, with about 2,700 guests on each, from Miami, New York and other ports to the Caribbean, Alaska and Europe. The ships have many bars and late-night venues, and the line has a private beach club in the Bahamas. With that many guests out late, injuries and assaults can happen almost anywhere. If you were hurt, your ticket can decide where and how fast you have to act.

ABOUT VIRGIN VOYAGES
Who you would be making a claim against.
Virgin Voyages was created in 2014 as a joint venture between Virgin Group and Bain Capital, and its first ship began sailing in 2021. The line is based in Plantation, Florida. Like any cruise operator, it has insurers and in-house lawyers, so what you tell them early can affect your claim.
THE FLEET
Four ships, each carrying about 2,800 guests.
Each ship links to its own page with reported incidents, so passengers searching by ship name land here.

WHAT TO DO AFTER AN INCIDENT
Report it onboard
Ask for a copy of the incident report before you leave the ship.
Document the scene
Photograph the hazard, the location, and any posted signage or lack of it.
Get seen onboard

VIRGIN VOYAGES-SPECIFIC QUESTIONS
How long do I have to file a claim against Virgin Voyages?
Virgin Voyages’ ticket contract, like most, can set a short deadline and name the court you must use. Most cruise tickets give you one year to file, and often six months to give written notice. Because the exact terms depend on your ticket, we check the contract that applies to you.
Virgin Voyages is adults-only. Does that change my claim?
It does not stop a claim. A cruise line owes every guest reasonable care, whatever the age limit. How bars, late-night venues and security were run can be part of how we look at a case, along with the facts of what happened to you.
I was assaulted on board. What should I do?
Your safety and health come first. Get to a safe place and ask for medical care, then report it to ship security and ask for a copy of the report. When you are ready, call us. A free, confidential case review can explain your options, and our assault page has more on what we look at.
What if I was hurt at the line’s private beach club?
It can count. Activities at the line’s own private destination can carry different responsibility than a tour run by an outside company, and local rules can matter. Because the facts differ from place to place, we look at who ran the activity and what you signed.
The ships are registered in the Bahamas. Does that matter?
It can. The ships are registered abroad and several companies can be involved, so your ticket may name a court or a country’s law you would not expect, and it names the company you sailed with. We read the contract before anything is filed, so that your claim goes to the right place.
What does it cost to find out if I have a case?
Nothing. The review is free, and if we take your case, we work on contingency, so our fee comes only from what we recover for you.
