RITZ-CARLTON YACHT COLLECTION INJURY LAWYERS
Injured on a Ritz-Carlton yacht?
The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection sails all-suite superyachts carrying about 300 to 450 guests, with a marina platform at the stern for swimming and water sports, to the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, Alaska and beyond. That means tender landings, water activities and often long distances from a hospital. If you were hurt, your ticket can decide where and how fast you have to act.

ABOUT THE RITZ-CARLTON YACHT COLLECTION
Who you would be making a claim against.
The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection sailed its first yacht in 2022 and uses the Ritz-Carlton name under a license from Marriott International. The line has offices in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and in Malta. Like any cruise operator, it has insurers and in-house lawyers, so what you tell them early can affect your claim.
THE FLEET
Three yachts, from about 300 to about 450 guests.
Each yacht links to its own page with reported incidents, so passengers searching by ship name land here.

RITZ-CARLTON YACHT-SPECIFIC QUESTIONS
How long do I have to file a claim after an injury on a yacht cruise?
The yacht line’s ticket contract, like most, can set a short deadline and name the court you must use. Most cruise tickets give you one year to file, and often six months to give written notice. Because the exact terms depend on your ticket, we check the contract that applies to you.
Is this a hotel brand or a cruise line? Who is responsible?
The Ritz-Carlton name is licensed from a hotel company, but the yachts are run by a separate yacht line, and your ticket names the company you sailed with. We identify the right company for you before anything is filed. That way, nothing goes to the wrong place.
The line has offices in Florida and Malta. Where can I file?
It depends on your ticket. With offices in Fort Lauderdale and in Malta, your contract may name a court or a country’s law you would not expect. We read it before anything is filed, so that your claim goes to the right place.
I was hurt swimming or using the marina platform. What should I do?
Get medical care first, then report it and keep your records. The yacht line may be responsible for activities it offers from the yacht, although a waiver you signed does not always end a claim. Because the details matter, please keep a copy of anything you signed.
I was hurt boarding a tender boat, does that count?
It can. Boarding a tender in open water is a common source of injury claims at ports where a yacht cannot dock, and the same ticket-contract deadlines apply. Whether you have a claim depends on what went wrong, such as the sea conditions, the crew’s help or the equipment.
What if the excursion was sold through the yacht line?
Excursions sold through the cruise line can carry different responsibility than ones you booked on your own ashore. For that reason, it is a key early question in any shore-excursion claim, especially for tours in remote places.
What does it cost to find out if I have a case?
Nothing. The review is free, and if we take your case, we work on contingency, so our fee comes only from what we recover for you.
