CRYSTAL CRUISE INJURY LAWYERS

Injured on a Crystal cruise?

Crystal sails luxury ships with fewer guests to places from Alaska and the Caribbean to the Mediterranean and Asia, and offers land tours arranged with its sister company, Abercrombie & Kent. That means injuries can happen on board and ashore. If you were hurt, your Crystal ticket can decide where and how fast you have to act.

ABOUT CRYSTAL

Who you would be making a claim against.

Crystal Cruises is owned by A&K Travel Group, which bought the brand and its two ships in 2022 and relaunched the line in 2023. A&K Travel Group is also the parent of Abercrombie & Kent, the luxury tour company whose land programs Crystal offers. The line is based in Hallandale Beach, Florida. Like any cruise operator, it has insurers and in-house lawyers, so what you tell them early can affect your claim.

WHAT TO DO AFTER AN INCIDENT

01

Report it onboard

Ask for a copy of the incident report before you leave the ship.

02

Document the scene

Photograph the hazard, the location, and any posted signage or lack of it.

03

Get seen onboard

A visit to the ship’s medical center creates a record with the date and time. Keep every bill and receipt.

04

Call before you settle anything

What you tell Crystal or its insurers early can affect your claim later, so do not sign a release or accept a payment before you call.

CRYSTAL-SPECIFIC QUESTIONS

How long do I have to file a claim against Crystal?

Crystal’s ticket contract, like most, can set a short deadline and name the court you must use. Most cruise tickets give you one year to file, and often six months to give written notice. Because the exact terms depend on your ticket, we check the contract that applies to you.

What if the tour was arranged with Abercrombie & Kent?

Land tours sold through the cruise line can carry different responsibility than ones you booked yourself. When a sister company runs the program, the ticket and your booking terms matter too, so we look at who ran the tour and what you signed.

Does it matter that Crystal changed owners in 2022?

It can. Crystal was sold in 2022 and relaunched in 2023 under A&K Travel Group, so which company is responsible can depend on when your voyage took place. We check which company your ticket names before anything is filed.

I was hurt boarding a tender boat, does that count?

It can. Boarding a tender in open water is a common source of injury claims at ports where a ship cannot dock, and the same ticket-contract deadlines apply. Whether you have a claim depends on what went wrong, such as the sea conditions, the crew’s help or the equipment.

What does it cost to find out if I have a case?

Nothing. The review is free, and if we take your case, we work on contingency, so our fee comes only from what we recover for you.
