RADISSON SEVEN SEAS CRUISE INJURY LAWYERS

Injured on a Radisson Seven Seas cruise?

Radisson Seven Seas Cruises, now sold as Regent Seven Seas Cruises, sails small, all-suite ships, none carrying more than about 750 guests, to ports around the world, including many that larger ships cannot reach. That means more tender transfers, more shore excursions and often long distances from a hospital. If you were hurt, your ticket can decide where and how fast you have to act.

ABOUT RADISSON SEVEN SEAS

Who you would be making a claim against.

Radisson Seven Seas Cruises was formed in 1992 and is now called Regent Seven Seas Cruises. It has been owned by Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, which also owns Norwegian Cruise Line and Oceania Cruises, since 2014, and it is based in Miami, Florida. Like any cruise operator, it has insurers and in-house lawyers, so what you tell them early can affect your claim.

WHAT TO DO AFTER AN INCIDENT

01

Report it onboard

Ask for a copy of the incident report before you leave the ship.

02

Document the scene

Photograph the hazard, the location, and any posted signage or lack of it.

03

Get seen onboard

A visit to the ship’s medical center creates a record with the date and time. Keep every bill and receipt.

04

Call before you settle anything

What you tell the cruise line or its insurers early can affect your claim later, so do not sign a release or accept a payment before you call.

RADISSON SEVEN SEAS-SPECIFIC QUESTIONS

How long do I have to file a claim against this line?

The line’s ticket contract, like most, can set a short deadline and name the court you must use. Most cruise tickets give you one year to file, and often six months to give written notice. Because the exact terms depend on your ticket, we check the contract that applies to you.

Is Radisson Seven Seas the same as Regent Seven Seas?

Yes. Radisson Seven Seas Cruises is the line’s former name, and it is now sold as Regent Seven Seas Cruises. Your ticket or paperwork may show either name, and it names the company you sailed with. We check that before anything is filed, so that your claim goes to the right place.

The line’s ships are registered abroad. Does that matter?

It can. Several of the ships are registered in places such as the Marshall Islands or the Bahamas, so your ticket may name a court or a country’s law you would not expect. We read the contract before anything is filed, so that your claim is not sent to the wrong place.

What if the excursion was included in my fare?

Excursions included in your fare were still sold through the cruise line, and they can carry different responsibility than ones you booked on your own ashore. For that reason, it is a key early question in any shore-excursion claim, especially for tours run by outside operators in remote ports.

I was hurt boarding a tender boat, does that count?

It can. Boarding a tender in open water is a common source of injury claims at ports where a ship cannot dock, and the same ticket-contract deadlines apply. Whether you have a claim depends on what went wrong, such as the sea conditions, the crew’s help or the equipment.

What does it cost to find out if I have a case?

Nothing. The review is free, and if we take your case, we work on contingency, so our fee comes only from what we recover for you.
