SILVERSEA CRUISE INJURY LAWYERS
Injured on a Silversea cruise?
Silversea sails small, ultra-luxury ships, none carrying more than about 750 guests, from classic ocean ships to expedition ships for the polar regions and the Galápagos. That means more tender and small-boat landings, more excursions and often long distances from a hospital. If you were hurt, your Silversea ticket can decide where and how fast you have to act.

ABOUT SILVERSEA
Who you would be making a claim against.
Silversea Cruises was founded in Monaco in 1994 and has been owned by Royal Caribbean Group, which also owns Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises, since 2020. Its offices are in Monaco and Miami, Florida. Like any cruise operator, it has insurers and in-house lawyers, so what you tell them early can affect your claim.
THE FLEET
More than ten ships, from about 100 to about 750 guests.
Each group links to its own page with its ships and reported incidents, so passengers searching by ship name land here.

SILVERSEA-SPECIFIC QUESTIONS
How long do I have to file a claim against Silversea?
Silversea’s ticket contract, like most, can set a short deadline and name the court you must use. Most cruise tickets give you one year to file, and often six months to give written notice. Because the exact terms depend on your ticket, we check the contract that applies to you.
Silversea is based in Monaco. Can I still file in the U.S.?
It depends on your ticket. Silversea has its executive offices in Monaco and an office in Miami, so your contract may name a court or a country’s law you would not expect, and it names the company you sailed with. We read it before anything is filed, so that your claim goes to the right place.
I was hurt boarding a tender or small landing boat, does that count?
It can. Boarding a tender or small boat in open water is a common source of injury claims at ports where a ship cannot dock, and the same ticket-contract deadlines apply. Whether you have a claim depends on what went wrong, such as the sea conditions, the crew’s help or the equipment.
What if I was hurt on an expedition or Galápagos activity?
It can count. Landings, hikes and water activities run by the ship’s own team can carry different responsibility than a tour run by an outside company, and local rules can matter. Because the facts differ from trip to trip, we look at who ran it and what you signed.
What if I needed medical care in polar or remote waters?
A delay in getting care, or limited care on board, can be part of a claim. Ships in polar and remote waters can be many hours or days from a hospital, so how quickly the crew acted and called for help can matter. Because every voyage differs, please keep every medical record and write down the times.
What does it cost to find out if I have a case?
Nothing. The review is free, and if we take your case, we work on contingency, so our fee comes only from what we recover for you.
